Stained Glass Botanical Fox

Calming and charming. These are my two favorite words to describe the simple elegance that is my stained glass Botanical Fox. The hand rolled orange and red textured glass was one of the very first pieces of glass I ever bought for my studio - long before I even had the name Tree Glass Studios. I knew one day I would see the perfect use for it and this folksy fox is it.

Along with the orange and red glass, this piece was made with warm brown glass for the eyes, opaque white glass for the face, belly and tail, and emerald green water glass for the slender long leaf.

Made using the Tiffany-method of copper foil and solder and framed in lead. Glass is a unique material in that it will stay rich and vibrant in the sun for generations, making the perfect heirloom.

Materials: Stained glass, copper foil, lead frame, lead solder, metal hook.

Measurements: Approximately 9.5 x 11.75 inches

The piece will be wrapped in colorful tissue paper, packaged in environmentally-friendly, plastic-free cushion wrap, and shipped in a recycled cardboard box.
