King Pine Needle Cache Bowls
I was inspired by the great King Pines of Maine when I created the King Pine Needle Home Collection this year. Winter is a frozen wonderland and low hanging branches full of frozen pine needles remind me of a hiking on fresh powdered trails deep in the woods.
The cache bowls were made by slowly fusing three layers of glass nearly 1,500 degrees into one layer - clear and white glass for the base and threads of green and brown glass stringers placed meticulously on top. Once fused, the pieces were then fired a second time into a slumping molds to form the bowls.
While likely safe to eat from, I would suggest using for decorative use. Hand wash only. Not recommended to use in the microwave or oven.
Message me if you would like to buy them as a set.
