Petrified Wood glass coupled with Robin's Egg glass (on the back) has a deep reaction in the kiln and creates lush waves of colors that align beautifully with nature. Here's how the pre-order works: You'll order and pay here. Once I receive the order, I'll get working on creating your coasters. From start to finish, they'll take me about 2-3 weeks to complete. Once complete, I'll package and ship them to you (always free shipping) and will send you tracking info to your email. Note: Petrified Wood glass is diverse, meaning each piece is unique, and the firing process reacts differently every time. I was inspired by the changing of the seasons, the soft drop of temperature and winter solstice when I created this plate. Made with opaque deep blue and black fusing glass and snowflakes, the serving plate was created by slowly fusing the glass nearly 1,500 degrees into one layer. Once fused, the piece was then fired a second time into a slumping mold to form the plate. While likely safe to eat from, I would suggest using for decorative use. Hand wash only. This window is made with textured English muffle glass and a singular amber crystal seated in the middle. Crystals and bevels were often added to Victorian and Edwardian windows to add to the luxury of the style that used to represent wealth and prestige. This window is made in the centuries-old technique of leading and cementing. Each piece of glass is hand cut, ground to fit and then seated into long lead strips that are cut to exact length. The piece is then cemented, cured, polished and framed. Typically, the framing is also lead but I cut zinc strips into a mitered corner frame (that is also cemented to the piece) for an extra sturdy and bright finish.
